I am now back into my regular reading and posting swing so I'm going to catch you all up on what's been going on in my world. Juliet Immortal by Stacey Jay I've already read this! I finished it and decided that I absolutely had to own it. It's a hauntingly beautiful read with the best ending ever. It's about Romeo and Juliet, except, now . In our time. Please, take your time. ;) Besides that...I, um, vaguely remembered seeing it before and thinking it sounded interesting. It's about a girl joining an all-guy band. And rooming with them. Well, in a literal sense, I'm not reading anything at the moment , but I'm going to show you the books I have acquired recently. :) I picked up these three books at a used-books store today. The bookstore had been organized differently from the last time I'd been there and they had a WHOLE new YA section. I saw quite a few books that have been floating around the blogosphere because they're famous, but were unfortunately also quite expensive. So I decided to get three books published not so recently. The Girl Who Could Silence the Wind by Meg Medina Eon by Alison Goodman The Blue Girl by Charles de Lint I got so lucky. As I was browsing the Middle Grade section, I saw a book ( The Girl Who Could ...eh, you get the idea) that looked pretty interesting and actually seemed YA to me but oh well. Well, no, our library isn't that ancient. I just thought it made the title sound more poetic. I haven't written a library haul in a long time, mainly because I haven't actually gone to the library in ages and have been existing solely on books I've bought and books I've borrow from the e-Library. Today was a beautiful (little bit cloudy) day and our whole family went to the our little local library together which was fun. :) But, guys. I fangirled/whatever-you-call-it-when-the-love-of-books-makes-you-hyperventilate when I saw that this, our small town library, had a gazillion books that are currently very popular and on my TBR list. I almost couldn't handle it. I was SO tempted to walk out of there with half the YA section. However, I exercised enormous restraint and only borrowed six (see? I'm very responsible). Five of those are ones I will be able to cross of my TBR list when I finish! *happy dance* I'm going to list these from the bottom ...

I feel like documenting this month's book haul. I know I shouldn't have, but I bought seven books at a used-books store when I already have loads of books waiting to be read. *sigh* It is the curse of the bookworm. #sorrynotsorry So, let's get on with it. I got these for a total of $6.65! Isn't that amazing?? GOSH. I'm stunned by my own bargain-making. OR LUCK, YEAH IT COULD HAVE BEEN LUCK. Also, I grabbed the first two books of the His Dark Materials trilogy by Philip Pullman. I'm really excited to read them because I've seen the movie ( The Golden Compass ) and because it seems to be religiously controversial in the book world and I'm curious.
