DAY 1: HAPPY PLACE
A little while ago, I found a tumblr tag called 31 Days of Self-Care. It involves daily activities that calm you down or cheer you up, all through the month of December. The whole idea is just really original and nice! Aaand the fact that it has a few drawing challenges thrown in there isn't bad either.
This is my first post for this challenge (obviously I'm starting extremely late but I wanted to do it on my own time whenever I could anyway).

Prompt: What’s your happy place? Reply here or illustrate it.
If you decide to do this challenge too, leave a link in the comments because I would LOVE to come check it out.
That looks SO cozy. And what a cool tag!
ReplyDeleteI actually LOVE the gigantic bean bag I have in my college apartment so much. That's what I thought!
Deletelove this! I also love that you're doing this at your own pace; that in and of itself is a form of self-care. doing challenges always stresses me out, so what you're doing is super smart!
ReplyDeletemy happy place if I have energy/want to be around people is my favourite table at the library. it's right by a window in the YA section, and I love working there. if I'm at home/resting, it's the end of my bed. I have an electric throw and one of those bedrest support pillows. I could spend hours watching anime and readings there.
can't wait to see the rest of this challenge!
thanks! <3 I hadn't thought of it that way but you're right and challenges always stress me out too so I'm really liking how this flexible approach is working out. :)
DeleteBoth of your happy places sound absolutely amazing. Especially the bed, I have a thing for cozy fluffy places lol. I like the way you think! I've literally spent hours watching tv shows, we got married, running man clips, etc. I have this weird thing where I can't really devote myself to full-sized books when I'm busy because I hate having to read them in small bits.
