I Got A Liebster Blog Award!

I am so excited! Can you tell by all the exclamation marks?!

I got nominated for the Liebster Blog Award by Amanda Emma @Little Miss Reader. This makes me very smiley. *happy dance* Thank you so much, Amanda! You made my day, and I'm so happy that you thought of my blog. I'm still in shock. The good kind though. Anyways, YAY, and thank you again.
You know what this means, right guys? I get to put Liebster Blog button on my sidebar. My life is complete.

RULES:
  • Make sure you thank and link back to the person who nominated you.
  • List 11 facts about yourself.
  • Answer 11 questions put forward by whoever nominated you.
  • Ask 11 new questions to 9 bloggers. They must have less than 200 followers on Bloglovin' (or their preferred method). You cannot re-nominate the blog that nominated you.
  • Go to their blog and inform them that they have been nominated!

Let's do this! Oh, and I think bloggers who have already received the Liebster Blog Award can be nominated again...even though there are a gazillion versions of the rules.

11 Facts About Me
1. I love pickles, especially with pizza. Apparently, that's not how normal people eat them. Strange.
2. I was born in Asia! (I'm also half-Asian.)
3. I've never written an entire novel even though I have many novel beginnings.
4. My favorite animals are horses, dolphins, and elephants.
5. I am extremely awful at remembering names. Actors, actresses, singers, people I just met a few  seconds ago-- it doesn't matter. But I'm good with faces :)
6. I've stood a few feet away from a tarantula. In its natural habitat. It was very hairy.
7. I like all things antique. Like old towns and houses, books, cars, clothes...Old barns are one of my favorite things to take pictures of.
8. A few years ago I had to get four (yes, four) wisdom teeth pulled. I was trundling around like a drunk for a while afterwords, their anesthetic was very strong.
9. I don't really like any type of soft drink (sprite, mountain dew, root beer, etc.).
10. I really like doing art. Sometimes I'll play around on my computer with PicMonkey or I'll sketch something in pencil. I've tried acrylics and oil paints, and loved oil paints the best because they blend so beautifully and the colors are so vivid. I'm only really good at pencil drawings though, and I absolutely slaughter almost every person I try to draw (I'll most likely try to deny being the owner).
11. I'm as blind as a bat without my contacts or my glasses. And my dad still has twenty-twenty vision! SO unfair.

Amanda's Questions for Me
1. What's your favorite TV show?
Everything I watch, I watch on my computer because we don't have cable (my dad, sister, and I lost the argument to my mom), so... probably Once Upon a Time or Nikita.

2. A bookish pet peeve?
I hate when people dog-ear pages in a book. Why would you do that?? Whenever I find dog-eared pages (wait. do you know what that means? if you don't, it means that the top corner was folded over), I quietly straighten them back out and go seethe in a corner.

3. Funniest moment of your life so far?
Funniest? I don't really have one. I laugh every time my sister trips though (and it happens every day). Does that count?

4. What's your best book-related memory?
My dad reading to me and my sister before we went to sleep when we were little, and my sister laughing so hard that she jiggled the whole bed when she was reading Captivate by Carrie Jones.

5. How do you organize your bookshelves and why?
Recently, I've been organizing them alphabetically by author, but before that I just threw them into the bookcase without paying attention to all of that.

6. If you could wish for anything you wanted to, what would you wish for?
Well, I would say world peace or something like that, but I've watched too many movies and read too many books. Who knows how that peace would be enforced? (Ideally chocolate, but nobody ever listens to me.)

This is going to sound extremely mushy and all that but I would wish for all my parents' debts to be paid off. If that couldn't happen, then I would want a library.

7. Are you religious? Why or why not?
Yup, I am. I was born into a religious family and decided to keep it. (The religion, not the family. I was forced to keep them.)

8. Do you speak any other languages?
Ehhhhh, I can speak a tiny bit of Chinese.

9. Is there any other genres you will/have never read?
I am pretty sure that I've never read anything horror-related.

10. Do you lend your books out?
Nope. I mean, I probably would, if anybody asked, but nobody has so all my babies stay safely in my bookshelves.

11. Favorite food?
This is almost as bad as asking what my favorite book is! -_-  My favorite food...is... ... Okay, I'm sorry, I really can't choose between pizza or steak. It's impossible. I love my food.

My Questions for My Nominees
1. If you could be any of The Avengers, who would you be?
2. Do you prefer paperbacks or hardbacks? (This is important.)
3. How did your parents choose your name? Why did they choose it?
4. What's your favorite movie?
5. What is something that you procrastinate a lot on?
6. Twitter or Facebook?
7. Do you play an instrument?
8. Have you ever had to get stitches?
9. What do you do when you're bored?
10. If you could choose between only reading or only writing, which one would you choose?
11. Do you keep a journal (doesn't have to be a physical one)?

    1. Thank you! I'm glad I made you laugh :) (I love making people laugh) You were right. You wrote a gigantic comment but I love it.

      The facts:
      1. How can you not like pickles?? -_- lol
      3. Hmm, we'll see *mysterious smile* Maybe sometime I'll let you read something...
      5. Gosh, it's so embarrassing! I've been going to visit colleges and stuff and I ALWAYS forget the tour guides' names almost immediately after they tell them to the group.
      8. No one taped me. Thank God. XD
      9. Nope, sorry. :D I don't like tea, coffee, or soft drinks even though I'll drink coffee or soft drinks sometimes.
      11. Aww, thanks :)

Your answers to my questions (I'm just copying your titles to skip the confusion):
      1. YAY. WHO'S YOUR FAVORITE GUY/GIRL?
      5. Honestly, it doesn't make that much of a difference to me because I only have one bookcase and I sort of find them partly by sight and by memory.
      8. I can say "hello", "goodbye", "how are you?", "My name is..." Just super simple stuff.
      9. I'll check it out!
      10. Ugh, me too. I hate it when my books get messed up.
      11. YES. THIS.

  7. THIS WAS BRILLIANT. I agree with tripping sisters...it's addictive too and never fails to make me laugh. Also, jumping out at them from behind doors. (I'm a wonderful sister, just in case you wanted to know.) I would enforce world peace with chocolate. I think that's a marvellous idea. DOG EARING PAGES IS A CRIME. And I've been to China before. :) For a month. It was awesome. I didn't understand a word of what anyone said, which was less awesome.

    1. Haha, I completely understand. I've visited Taiwan which is off the coast of China and it's just like "Whaaaat?" A tiny bit of Chinese doesn't help in these cases AT ALL. Guess we better get busy and start stockpiling chocolate (This could help with your world domination thing, Cait. People don't tend to fight when they're in chocolate-induced comas).

I love scaring my sister too (she screams easily) XD We are both fabulous sisters. Duh. Why else would we take the time to laugh at them? *flips hair*
