This is basically going to be a post with lots of blog-related/book-related news.

*These are a few of the amazing, awesomesauce giveaways that I've discovered recently that you need to go check out. I will put links to the giveaways where the blog names are and links to the books (on Goodreads) through their pictures.
Kate @The Magic Violinist is giving away a copy of Fauxpocalypse which she co-wrote with a group of people. :) Ends on April 6.
Hawwa @It Was Lovely Reading You is giving away FIVE book series: the Slated Series by Teri Terry, the Across the Universe Trilogy by Beth Revis, the Declaration Trilogy by Gemma Malley, the Roller Girls Series by Megan Sparks, and the Ruby Redfort Series by Lauren Child. What's even better? There will be one winner for each series. YES. Ends on May 1.
Martina @Martina Boone (author of Compulsion) is giving away a signed copy of These Broken Stars, signed copies of Kat Zhang's What's Left of Me and Once We Were, a personalized ARC of her own book Compulsion, and a sterling silver key necklace. Go away, I want to win this. Ends on March 31.
Make sure to check these giveaways out! I guess I can live with you diminishing my chances of winning this once.
Project 30 Days of Inspire: Days 5 & 6
I totally forgot to put an Inspire post up yesterday. Sorry, Unikke. I'm making up for it today though because I'm putting two quotes up and, in honor of the first day of spring *fist pump* (beautiful days need to come now), they are flower-based quotes.
Thorns hurt. They're ugly. But the pain goes away, the wounds heal. Focus on the roses in your life and the world will seem like a much better place, vibrant and colorful.
Day 6: "Don't wait for someone to bring you flowers. Plant your own garden and decorate your own soul." Don't let anyone else define you. Don't wait for other people to make decisions for you, or if you have people trying to force you into a decision, tell them to lay off and back off. You need to make your own decisions. I'm not talking about being rebellious and rude towards relatives (ahem, parents). Be firm though, because sometimes it's hard for them to realize that you are growing up.
Point being-- you need to make yourself. Don't let other people make you. Plant your own garden, decorate your own soul. After all, you're the one who needs to live with yourself for your whole life.
