Experienced Colleger

Obviously, since I've officially finished my first year of college, I am a total pro at this. Obviously. I AM SO EXCITED. I cannot tell you how many times I supremely wanted to curl up in a ball and cry and watch Netflix (at the same time) and not worry about grades. Buuut, I'm poor. And poor people especially have to worry about their grades so. Yeah. The horror story known as finals is over for me. I am currently packing and getting ready to leave for home and summer break. *excited muted screeching noises* My room is very  messy so no pictures. I'm actually not having a complete break. I'll be taking an online class, studying to CLEP a class (Which is taking an exam, and if you pass you get full credit but no grade. Just pass or fail.), and possibly getting a part time job. My car needs some TLC and it'd be nice to pad my account for the coming school year. I've also become kind of almost addicted to the Korean reality show, We Got Married. Whaaaat? ...

Hello, Summer

Summer is here! *happy dance* That being said--um, first, no school. Just let me cry a few tears of joy in the corner. Secondly, two words. Sleeping in. Every day. Well, that's four, but you get my point. Summer gives me the chance to do two of my three favorite things in much larger proportions. I eat all year round (wow, I know. you didn't know that, did you?) so this means I now have many hours for sleeping and reading. I'm tempted to just say summer is my favorite season, except then I step outside and...get slammed into the ground with humidity. Not surprisingly, all a lot of my summer plans take place inside. Here are some things I plan on doing this summer: Catch up on reviewing all of my NetGalley ARCs. I have quite a lot. (Bad, Skylar.) Participate in a lot of book tours and blitzes and stuff, this will be infinitely easier as I'm a host for Fire & Ice Book Tours and Xpresso Book Tours. Grow my blog following (dur ;)). Right now I have three s...

Seashells and Oceanside

Sooo, I got back home last night from a tiny vacation with my family. It was awesome. I had so much fun and I can't wait to go back sometime. But you want details, don't you? Of course, you do. Me and my family went on a two half-day, one night trip to Florida. We hadn't taken a vacation in quite a while and so it was really refreshing and relaxing. And despite my good intentions, I didn't read one page of The Clockwork Prince like I planned to. It happens every time. For some reason, I just don't read on vacations. There's too much to take in and explore! We left early in the morning (around 5:40, I'd say) and drove for around seven to eight hours to Panama City Beach, Florida....which is the actual name of the city and not a beach. As soon as we got there, we changed into our swimsuits in the Burger King restrooms and headed out to the beach. It was beautiful. I've been to the beach in Delaware, which is northeastern America, and the o...

I Must Tell You

Guess what? I am now a part of the Mizbooks Media Blog Tour Team. That means I can get free books in exchange for reviews. I am so excited! Bad news is I'm really, really  sick. I caught some type of flu :( and it's been pretty rough so far. When I hold my hand out, it shakes really bad. Which is so wrong.  Anyways, I'm writing this because it might be a couple days before I can write an interesting, normal-length post. My school starts back up this Monday (I am in denial) and let's face it  after long vacations. So I have an extremely painful headache and I'm gonna finish here. Have an awesome day/night/afternoon, etc.
