February Challenge | An Idea a Day

Hey guys! Two posts is a lot for one day (and I never double post) but I just wanted to let you know about a really awesome challenge that Go Teen Writers is hosting.

It's called February's Monthly Challenge: A Daily Idea and the gist of it is that you have to come up with a story idea every day of February. You can check out the link for more detailed information (I hear there's a chance to win an Amazon gift card *wiggles eyebrows*).

I'm going to be doing this challenge because I feel like it will help my creativity in writing grow and also just make me more confident about my story-telling skills. I'll update on Twitter as far as how I'm doing... if I'm frustrated... There might be the occasional blogpost update too. :)

And, if you decide to do it, I would love for you to let me know how it's going for you.


I already went out to buy special note pads to write my ideas in so I can make sure that I stay motivated and on track (and I'll feel bad if I waste them ;) ). My strategy is super sound don't worry.

      I thought it was great when I found out about it! Same. I'm a really insecure writer (which I think is like 80% of the reason I don't write a lot). Good luck with your writing :) Are you thinking about doing the challenge?

    oooh! excuse to buy a new notebook (darn you enabling people...I have an addiction...) I think I'll try this, because I have so many plot bunnies but they all end up hopping away while I'm distracted with editing. *sad face* (those notebooks are BEAUTIFUL, btw)

      Yeees, all the excuses (mwuahahaha... me too). The other day I thought of a story idea and now for the life of me I can't remember a single darn thing about it so yeah :( (THANK YOU. I found them at TJ Maxx! I'm in love)

Book Haul + My First Guest Post (!)

Guys, guys, guys, guys. I did my very first guest post at Tansie Gray's blog Totally Tansie  and it was awesome collaborating with her! Tansie's blog is full of hilarious book reviews, rants, and writing tips. Airplanes and Sky

Remember when I talked about big travel things that I was going to do this summer? THE TIME. HAS. COME. IT IS HERE. YAY. As you can probably tell, I'm just a little excited. Me and my family are headed to Taiwan this summer for my uncle's wedding and since plane trips aren't really a regular thing for us, it'll be awesome.  If you know me even a little bit, you know that I love  traveling and gosh I'm just so excited to be able to be in and see another culture for a little while. *happy dance* Another reason I'm writing this is to tell you about how I get ready for major trips and whatever little tips I use to make traveling easier.
