Top Ten Books I've Recently Added To My TBR

Image
It's been a while since I did a Top Ten Tuesday buuuut I'm back! At least, for this Tuesday. :))  The Prom Goer's Interstellar Excursion  by Chris McCoy This sounds pretty ridiculous which is probably why I put it in my TBRs. I know. My reasons are so profound. Passenger by Alexandra Bracken This is a beautiful (unique) cover and I'm all for books about time-travel. Roommate Wanted by Nina Perez First of all, in my opinion, the most interesting stories are about ordinary people who would've never noticed each other accept that somehow they now exist in each other's lives aka live in the same house. Second of all... Yeah. I only had the one point. Never Always Sometimes by Adi Alsaid I like lists. I like not being cliche. A story about trashing lists and being cliche? Hmm, interesting. In all seriousness though, I've heard great things and I've been wanting to read it f...

August TBR

Image
It's time for a new TBR post! Crossing my fingers that I can read all, or at least most, of the books I choose. Also, just a quick note about future blogging. With school starting up again soon, I've been trying to think up a posting schedule that will help me keep blogging steadily without taking a big amount of time up. For the time being, I think I've settled on one post per week but more if I can handle it. When it gets closer to school starting again I'll update you all on which day you should expect posts and all that jazz. :) This month's TBR pile is: The Potter's Lady by Judith Miller The Chapel Wars by Lindsey Leavitt A Darker Shade of Magic by V. E. Schwab Nimona by Noelle Stevenson Compulsion by Martina Boone **A Mystery Read** The idea of including a "mystery read" just came to me as I was typing this post up. Basically, I want you  to give me book recommendations and I'll pick a book to read from them....

July Recap

Image
This month was kind of crazy because of all the school things and the big road trip, thus there weren't as many posts this month and I didn't read as many books. Many good things happened though! I got to see BTS in Chicago . I passed my CLEP exam. I got tanner. ;) And now I'm going to recap July with you. As always there are many songs that I fell in love with this month. It's music. It's gonna happen. This is such a funky, rockin' summer song. And, of course, Big Bang is as crazy and fun as usual. (*cough* T.O.P are you on drugs *cough*) Seventeen just debuted this year in May. THERE ARE SO MANY. I am awful at remembering names. How do I file away 13 names in my brain? (I actually have by now. I was sucked in so fast oh my gosh.) I love this song. Especially the rapping.  So, I don't know how pre-debut this is (a lot, looking at Hansol's face) but, guys, this is pre-debut . Yes, it's Seventeen again. I have no regr...

July TBR

I've decided to start posting monthly TBR posts as something to remind myself that I need to read these books and not get distracted by shiny library books. Just let me dream please. This month's TBR pile is: Here, There and Elsewhen  by Charles Fontenay City of Heavenly Fire  by Cassandra Clare Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella (I've actually already finished this one) A Darker Shade of Magic  by V. E. Schwab Compulsion by Martina Boone (fun fact: two of these books are library books) Have you read any of these? Do you want to?

June Recap

Image
Whoaaaa. I can't believe it's the end of June already. The time's passed by so quickly...too quickly for me *sigh* But hey, I've done some pretty awesome things (and awesome things are coming) and that's more than I manage to make my lazy (antisocial) butt do some summers. favorite quotes favorite songs Dame - Shaggy ft. Kat Deluna Haven't Had Enough - Marianas Trench Dope - BTS L.I.U. - Boys Republic I Feel Good - EXID TBR Since I didn't set a TBR pile for this month, this isn't so much an update as just a general summing up. I'm pretty happy with the amount of books I read, considering I've been studying during this summer too. :) Red Queen  by Victoria Aveyard.  ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪  You know, I can understand people not liking this. But even though there were cliche elements (Hi, popular Hunger Game themes) and it was kind of slow in the beginning, I loved the characters and their development and the p...
