💮💮APRIL SHOWERS (RECAP)💮💮

Image
Hey, guys. It's been a while huh. I basically have the same old excuse, which is-- school runs my life right now (and for the remaining couple days of finals week). Sleep deprivation is a way of life. Etc. etc.  Between no sleep and exams though, I still wanted to do April's recap because 1) it was a pretty cool month and 2) DO YOU GUYS SEE MY NEW BLOG DESIGN. 😊 Oh my gosh, I'm so happy.  music (My Side by Laurex, only one of the cutest Youtube couples EVER) (Kuaga/Lost Time by Pierce Fulton. This sounds like a tropical island. And it also happens to be the song for one of the couples that I highly ship in my sisters WIP. So. We all win.) (Spotlight by Punch & Silento. Who knew dis boy aka Punch could sing this good?? The dancing is pretty spot on too 👌) (Dong Dong by Produce 101, the show. I'll explain more about my new interest in Produce 101 Season 2 BUT this performance from Season 1 is fire.) (Rom...

JANUARY RECAP

Image
The last half of this month has kind of been a whirlwind...moving back to school, organizing everything again , getting into the routine of five classes (two of which are 3 hours each). It's probably life making up for the first half of the month in which I was shamefully lazy and did nothing.     Instructions for Flight by Kate I. Foley  🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ( review here , but  👌) The Fill-In Boyfriend by Kasie West  🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 ( 💗 I love it SO much ) On the Fence by Kasie West  🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 (TBH this was leaning more towards 3 but relatable guy problems yo) It wasn't a big reading month. I guess I've been going through a slump and nothing really interests me (except YA contemporaries *gasp*). Or else I don't have the energy/attention span to sit down and actually read a book. One of the delights of being a lot more anxious and stressed out at school. Sometimes, okay most of the time, I'd rather watch YouTube or the latest TV series...

August Recap

Image
IT'S THE END OF AUGUST (and it has been for like seven days. I'm so sorry ). How has time passed so quickly? Gosh. School's been started back up for two weeks (but not rly since I pre-wrote this post and right now it's been three) and everyone's struggling to get back into the rhythm of regular old busy life. I've moved back to my college apartment, got everything pretty much organized again, etc.  I guess the hard things for me are getting my creative flow back on for my design classes and just... finding the energy to pay attention and interact with people and walk around all the time. SO HARD.  This month was a pretty successful month if I say so myself. I always struggle to read during the school year, and this year's no different, but I feel like I'm getting better at not stressing out to the point of doing no reading. Fight For You (Stripling Warrior #2) and In All Place (Stripling Warrior #3) by Misty...

June Recap

Image
Hi, peeps. June has come to an end. The whole summer is passing way to fast in my humble opinion but at least some really cool things happened this month. I went to Taiwan for a couple weeks, I helped out the honors program at my college as a Big Sib for a little while... aaand now I'm back to studying for an exam. Which kind of ends up on the not cool side of things but eh.  Who can tell. If it helps me gain 8 credits I'm up for it ;) I'm SOO happy because do you know how many books I read this month??? NINE. I haven't read that many books in a month in aaages. I feel so accomplished.   And even better, all of the books were pretty good. There was nothing below three stars which I call a win.  The Emperor's Edge Series (Books 1-7) by Lindsay Buroker. This only links to the first book! (one of the best imo) Yes, I binge-read a whole series. No, I'm not sorry. ^^ One of the three-star books was in this one but the rest were...

February Recap

Image
I wasn't able to finish any books this month. :( I'm working my way through Game of Thrones but that thing is a monster and I've only been able to read in chunks. Hopefully next month will be better!     Sit Still, Look Pretty by Daya Hate by 4 Minute I'm Him by Mino (WINNER. Super cool MV feels.) Feel So Good by BAP (chyeah baby) Honestly, once I hit about mid-month February I've been kind of on a all-entertainment-things-ban. Because school. And internships. And a stomach bug that hit me out of friggin nowhere.  But earlier this month I did  watch these shows a little bit: 1. Madame Antoine I looove this drama. I liked it so much that I binge-watched 4 episodes in one sitting. And that  is hardcore with K-dramas when the episodes are like one hour each. Anyway, it's about psychology + palm reading + all the chemistry + dysfunctional family vibes. 2. Monsta X - Right Now ...
