Top Ten Books I've Recently Added To My TBR

Image
It's been a while since I did a Top Ten Tuesday buuuut I'm back! At least, for this Tuesday. :))  The Prom Goer's Interstellar Excursion  by Chris McCoy This sounds pretty ridiculous which is probably why I put it in my TBRs. I know. My reasons are so profound. Passenger by Alexandra Bracken This is a beautiful (unique) cover and I'm all for books about time-travel. Roommate Wanted by Nina Perez First of all, in my opinion, the most interesting stories are about ordinary people who would've never noticed each other accept that somehow they now exist in each other's lives aka live in the same house. Second of all... Yeah. I only had the one point. Never Always Sometimes by Adi Alsaid I like lists. I like not being cliche. A story about trashing lists and being cliche? Hmm, interesting. In all seriousness though, I've heard great things and I've been wanting to read it f...

10 Things I'm Addicted To (And I'm Not Sorry)

Image
Before I get into the main part of this post, I'd just like to say that "white chocolate" appeared in the keywords that people have used to find my blog. Um, yes. That is fabulous. I love this person. Let's be honest here, the only search word better than this would be "milk chocolate." (Don't argue.) ~~~ I was wondering what to write today....and I really wasn't producing any interesting, fun ideas. At all. So I googled and found a list of topics, one of which was "What You're Addicted to and Why," here . I thought that sounded really fun so I'm stealing it for my blog. :)  Because we all know that as a blogger, I'm gonna have addictions . That's just how it works.  My List of 10 Things I'm Addicted To 1. Social Media + YouTube First, the expected things: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YouTube. Who doesn't adore these websites. They are literally my life. I check them everyday...

Top Ten Books of 2014

Image
The great year of 2014 is winding down...and this of course calls for a recap of my favorite books of 2014, through the awesome Top Ten Tuesday linkup courtesy of The Broke and the Bookish . :) It was hard but not as hard as I thought it would be. Drum roll please. :) These are not in any particular order. 1. Stolen Songbird by Danielle L. Jensen Honestly, this book had me turning pages SO fast and my emotions didn't know what to do. Even though the premise of trolls and the way the author dealt with story building was fantastic, I think the book's strongest point was in the characters. I was so invested! They were written like all amazing  characters (at least to me), very complexly. 2. Hex Hall trilogy + School Spirits   by Rachel Hawkins         No, I'm not cheating by listing four books for one slot. Nope. ;) The thing is, though, that the whole Hex Hall trilogy and School Spirits (not shown here) are so amazing that I c...

Top Ten Popular Authors I've Never Read

Image
I'm actually a little embarrassed by some of these...because, well, pretty much everybody else has read them. I hate you guys. I am so jealous. Seriously. Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted  by The Broke and the Bookish . Basically, lists. I love lists. They put up the Top Tens for several weeks in advance, and they're all book related! 1. J. K. Rowling Yes, I am aware that I'm a failure. Apparently, the Harry Potter books are amazing and I do want to read them. I just haven't gotten around to it.   2. Stephenie Meyer , author of the Twilight series and The Host . I really want to read The Host because I watched the movie and it was awesome. But , I'm a little wary of the Twilight series because of the HUGE amount of negative opinions on it. I plan on trying it out anyways though.           3. John Green *sobs* I'm sorry (My sins are unpardonable). I really want to read The Fault in Our Stars beca...
